Our Calling
Our Calling works to end homelessness in Dallas County, Texas. More than 10,000 people experienced homelessness in the area in 2015. Our Calling believes that helping these people understand the causes behind their situation and access vital resources can lift them out of homelessness. The organization seeks to build one-on-one friendships between volunteers and people who are homeless, using an app to help identify people in need, among other support measures.
Edify
Edify partners with entrepreneurs who need access to training, capital, and technology to improve education around the world. Many of these entrepreneurs are founding low-cost, independent schools to support the children in their own communities. Edify provides biblically-based training for school leaders, lending capital to expand school facilities, and technology that promotes literacy and critical thinking skills. Mercy Ships
Acting in the image of Jesus’ healing acts, Mercy Ships provides free, life-changing surgeries to children in need. Its hospital ship travels throughout Africa brings volunteer medical teams and sterile operating rooms directly to people who are in desperate need of care but do not have access to it otherwise. The organization has provided more than 82,000 surgeries, including the tumor removals, cleft corrections, and more.
Act
Act educates inner-city residents about the justice system and empowers them to fight crime in their neighborhoods. The organization works to build relationships among community members, reduce the number of drug houses in each neighborhood, and restrict criminal networks from expanding into the area. It is Act’s belief that this restores hope and dignity to troubled neighborhoods and begins a cycle that gives residents the courage to continue working for safer neighborhoods.
Lighthouse for Christ
Lighthouse for Christ operates the Lighthouse Eye Centre in Mombasa, Kenya, which provides medical and surgical eye care at little or no cost. The organization also trains pastors and constructs churches to spread the Word of Christ, with 72 Lighthouse-affiliated churches to date. Lighthouse accepts financial donations, as well as medical and non-medical volunteers to support its mission, making it unique to other Christian charities.
BraveLove
When a mother chooses to allow her child to be adopted, she is often faced with criticism and pain. BraveLove seeks to change this narrative by framing the decision as a brave, loving, and selfless act. The organization works with women facing unplanned pregnancies to provide them with education and support in placing their child with an adoptive family. Its resources, which include short films and videos, provide a modern approach to adoption that helps birth moms and their communities think about adoption in a new light.
The Last Well
Providing clean drinking water to the entire population of Liberia is a lofty goal, but it’s one that The Last Well is proud to work towards. After a long, devastating civil war, the vast majority of Liberians were left without access to clean drinking water. The Last Well seeks to remedy this by bringing the Gospel and clean water facilities to the entire country by the end of 2020.
Cooperative Outreach of India
Cooperative Outreach of India serves the rural poor in Norther, Northwest, and East India, particularly children. The group health initiatives, schooling, and vocational training for women and children. Like many Christian charities, Cooperative Outreach also holds community events, such as self help groups and youth groups, to inspire people to commit to a value system that inspires others.
Gospel for Muslims Ministries
Gospel for Muslims Ministries uses donations to fund micro-loans, education, healthcare, and women’s empowerment initiatives in an effort to end poverty. Unlike most charities, 100% of each dollar donated goes directly towards a humanitarian project. GFM Ministries seeks to promote cross-cultural outreach and currently serves more than 250,000 people with its efforts.
Folds of Honor
Children and spouses of fallen and disabled service members can receive academic scholarships through Folds of Honor. Scholarships are available for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as for higher education or post-secondary certification. The organization holds several fundraisers throughout the year, including Patriot Golf Day, in which golf courses across the country host tournaments to fundraise for the scholarships.

Christian leaders throughout Latin America receive support from Church Ministries International. The organization works with leaders in urban areas to unify their communities and provides them with the resources they need to do so. Its Encounter with God model helps develop sustainable, multiplying, and locally-resourced movements that spread the Gospel through each community.
